Who is running for SD43 trustee?
Nine trustee seats across four communities are on the October 17, 2026 ballot. This is the official candidate list from each city, declared when nominations closed on September 11.
The official list, declared September 11, 2026: Port Moody has four candidates for its two seats (Emily Cheadle, Tracy Green, Jessica Morrison and Carola Thompson, all new). Coquitlam has nine candidates for four seats, including three incumbents. Port Coquitlam has six for two seats, including both incumbents. The shared Anmore and Belcarra seat has a single candidate. Twenty candidates for nine seats in all.

Nine trustees across four areas: Coquitlam elects four, Port Moody two, Port Coquitlam two, and Anmore and Belcarra share one. Each city runs its own trustee election, so you only vote for candidates in your own community.
Do Coquitlam trustee candidates appear on a Port Moody ballot?
No. Each community elects its own trustees. A Port Moody ballot lists only the Port Moody trustee candidates.
Is this the official candidate list?
Yes. Nominations closed September 11, 2026 and each municipality published its official list that day. This page reflects those lists. Candidates may withdraw until September 18, 2026, after which the ballot is final.
